About Ubani — Tbilisi Cityscape Research Center

Ubani — Tbilisi Cityscape Research Center is a non-profit organisation committed to exploring and promoting the architectural heritage and urban landscape of Tbilisi. We aim to consolidate and deepen knowledge about Tbilisi’s landscape, urban development, and architecture. Through our public program, exhibitions, workshops, talks, and events, we seek to make this information accessible to a wider audience and raise awareness globally.

Role overview

The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies that support Ubani’s mission and activities. This role involves building relationships with donors, partners, and institutions, as well as identifying new funding opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and manage fundraising strategies and plans
  • Track fundraising opportunities and identify potential donors, partners, and funding sources (local and international)
  • Prepare fundraising materials, proposals, and donor communications
  • Maintain relationships with individual donors, patrons, and institutional supporters
  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns and donation drives
  • Work closely with the Ubani team to align fundraising efforts with ongoing projects
  • Track fundraising activities and prepare basic reports

Profile

  • Experience in fundraising, cultural management, or related fields
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Interest in culture, architecture, urban studies, or heritage is an advantage
  • Experience working with non-profit or cultural organizations is a plus
  • Must have excellent command of English; Georgian is an advantage
